A couple of orphans at the base we will be staying at experiencing the true love, joy and acceptance of their heavenly father.

If anyone would like to know how God confirmed this trip many times over, feel free to give us a call! We'd love to share.

Q&A

What is the cost of the trip?

The trip is about $17,500. To see the expense breakdown click here.

What about after the trip?

We don't know what country will be next and when. What we DO know is that the entrepreneurial businesses will be a primary focus upon our return. We feel that MN will be always be our home base. We don't feel called to be full-time missionaries overseas, but rather as entrepreneurs that fund and fuel the kingdom. When God says, "GO" we want to have the flexibility and resources to be able to. We envision 3-4 international mission trips a year.

What we've done so far to make this possible:

Quit our financial careers, rented out our loft (to cover our mortgage), moved in with our parents, listed our truck for sale, downgraded the gym membership and cell phone plan and put ourselves on a good old, tight budget. We've also been heads down this entire year (no social life), working around the clock to develop the businesses.

What we will be doing from now until October?

We will be spending most of August on a mission trip to Ukraine (the cost of this trip is already covered) and then spending September developing our businesses further!

What businesses?

Rachel has moved her personal training business to online (www.morr.fit), Jake is building computers to mine crypto currencies, and we are developing a health food product.

What about YOYO?

Our inner city youth program will be led by an amazing couple that we trust. They have volunteered for YOYO over the past year and will be stepping in to cover for us. Our youth aren't thrilled to see us go, (we think they plan to sneak in our suitcases), but they will be greatly missed.

How are we feeling about the large transition?

Life is short and there are a lot of people who have never heard of Jesus! Nothing we are "giving up" we cannot get back. We feel overwhelmed with joy, peace and excitement for what is to come! Keep us in your prayers as we have a lot of things to get in good order before we depart. We'd greatly appreciate prayers now and while overseas for grace, strength, health, breakthrough, protection and unity!
